Ununited medial malleolus fracture fragment
Fracture fragment was associated with surrounding inflammation and clinical impingement and debilitating pain. There was scarring and edema within the deltoid ligament. Podiatrist elected to remove the fragment. Partial tibialis posterior tear confirmed at surgery.
