calcium hydroxyapatite crystal deposition disease ( RID3594 )
The coracohumeral injerval is 4.6 mm; less than 6mm is considered narrow and may predispose to subcoracoid impingement. I think this is calcific peritendonitis of the subscapularis. The chronic history of pain that is recently worse, along with the indistinct appearance of the deposit and marked reactive bursal inflammation suggests resorptive phase HADD. Is there a reliable way to measure coracohumeral interval on shoulder sonography?
