Symptomatic complete type of suprapatellar plica of the knee
Pathologic conditions related to suprapatellar plica are extremely uncommon. It can impinge on the articular cartilage of the superomedial angle of the trochlea in flexion. Unperforated or complete form of suprapatellar plica usually manifest at the second decade of life as suprapatellar slight painful mass.
MR imaging allows a precise diagnosis and differentiate it for other articular and periarticular soft-tissue tumors. [ Article ]
