Lisfranc ligament ( RID3119 )
Non-weight bearing XRs appear normal. Weight-bearing is preferred to detect TMT subluxation, but practically difficult due to pain. Given the history, MRI was recommended as occult osseous/ligament injury was likely. The dorsal band and interosseous component of the Lisfranc ligament complex are torn. Plantar band is intact (which doesnt make sense, but it is). The intra-articular base of 2nd MT fracture is seen in the sagittal image. [ Article ]
