Calcific tendonitis of the subscapularis
Calcific tendinitis is often extruded into the adjacent soft tissues in the mechanical phase. If into the bursa it can be known as calcific bursitis and is typically associated with marked inflammation. If calcium forms in the soft tissues around a joint it can be referred to as calcific periarthritis. May or may not have originated in a tendon. If extruded into a bursa then there is often a defect in the tendon. My feeling is that this was subscapularis calcific tendinitis that has been extruded. The last image is from a different patient, same process.
