16 y/o with target appearing osteoid osteoma surrounded by marked fusiform thickening of the lateral tibial diaphysis. I told the referring doctor that I wasnt sure (just kidding). Best I have ever seen. There is a nidus with central mineralization present. An important differential consideration would be chronic osteomyelitis with sequestrum or cortical abscess if a clear cut nidus is not seen. The nidus is well seen in this case. [ Article ]
