Femoroacetabular Impingement
I am confused by this case. In the coronal images there appears to be cortical hyperostosis at the lateral femoral neck (white arrow) creating a pistol grip deformity, with linear bright signal of the superior labrum (red arrow) which I reported as tear. In the Obl and Sag images there is no anterior Cam lesion nor is there a definite anterior labral tear. What is confusing is I dont see the pistol grip deformity in the radiographs, just lateral subcortical fibrocystic changes. Would you call this a lateral Cam lesion based on Cor MRI, despite the radiographs? [ Article ]
