subspine impingement XR shows low lying AIIS bilaterally (white arrows) not to be confused with the acetabular margin (yellow arrows). There is no acetabular overcoverage on MRI. There is also a femoral CAM lesion (red arrow). MR arthogram shows cartilage thinning (blue arrow) at the anterior acetabular roof. Cor images show fraying and partial tear of the superior labrum. He could not assess pain response to IA lidocaine because he only has pain when running. I dont know whether any of his symptoms are related to subspine impingement by the low lying AISS vs the contribution of the CAM FAI.
