coracoacromial ligament ( RID1915 )
This is f/u to a previous case I posted 3 mos ago. The mass encasing the CAL proves to be a ganglion. I dont think it is clinically relevant. Only now that we gave IV gado, I see enhancement around a small calcific deposit near the lateral insertion of the transverse humeral ligament, that was there (but I missed it) in retrospect (last slide). Given the surrounding synovial enhancement and contiguous bursal enhancement, I suspect this might be paining her. I have seen many cases of small, easy to miss calcific deposits in this location, never visible on XR. Im sure these are more apparent on US.
