posterior horn of lateral meniscus ( RID2767 )
We often see displaced medial meniscal flaps extending into the medial meniscocapsular recess. Ive not previously noticed a posteriorly displaced posterior horn lateral meniscal flap creating a double popliteus tendon sign. Someone else also thought it looked like a double popliteus tendon because its been reported. In this case, there is a contiguous cleavage tear of the LM body with small parameniscal cysts.
