retracted tear of supraspinatus and rotator cable
Sagittal images show a partial articular surface tear at the anterior insertion of the supraspinatus tendon, with a contiguous retracted articular surface partial tear more posteriorly. There is an associated retracted tear of the rotator cable which is displaced into the intermuscular space between the supra and infraspinatus muscles (Ive never seen this). Contiguity of the rotator cable with the intact CHL is indicated by arrows in the top middle Sagittal image. Partial tears of the supra and infraspinatus muscles are demonstrated in slide 2. Coronal images in slide 3 indicate the supraspinatus and rotator cable tear.
