Discussion

Cystic mass discovered in evaluation of knee region for DVT. Ultrasound technologist decided to look at the anterior knee because it looked swollen. Interpreting Radiologist said r/o synovial sarcoma versus bursitis or abscess so an MRI was ordered. Nice corelation.
