Discussion

Nice correlation between CT and ultrasound (note low CT quality relates to reconstruction from a dataset acquired for previous abdomen exam). When you encounter this US appearance of squared femoral head with abrupt shelf-like change in bone contour (arrowed) at the junction with normal femoral neck, you are looking at a cam lesion.
