Discussion

focal lucent lesion in the anterior femoral cortex. general differential considerations for cortical lesions and thickeing include osteoid osteoma, stress fracture, and chronic osteomyelitis. notice the cortical dimple (arrow) and vascular groove, compatible with an osteoid osteoma.
