Discussion

In the region of interest there is a multi-lobulated serpiginous mass measuring approximately 2.5 x 2.9 x 1.9 cm. The mass extends towards the acromioclavicular joint and has a cystic appearance with internal echoes. It may represent a ganglion. However, the serpiginous shape of the mass may indicate that it is due to superficial thrombophlebitis.
