Discussion

Very unusual medial meniscal tear, with a portion of the body and posterior horn displaced through the medial capsule into the extra-articular soft tissues. The patient had evidence of prior ACL tear and posteromedial corner injury, with avulsion of the semimembranosis. Presumably the medial capsule was torn at this time allowing the meniscal flap to extrude through.

Diagnosis

Meniscal flap
