Discussion

The surgeon said the tear wasnt visible from the articular side and debridement was necessary to reach it from the bursa. The tendon was stuck down and a side to side repair was necessary. You can make out the central defect in the footprint with intact articular and burial surfaces.
I have seen a few of these in Infraspinatus, as per the article linked below, but this was my first in Supraspinatus. Reference article.
