Discussion

Sag images from MRI 7 months ago was reported as mild arthrosis and edema without tendon pathology. Obl Ax images from follow up ankle MRI demonstrate persistent fusiform thickening and increased intrasubstance signal of the peroneus tertius tendon which corresponds to her area of pain and the palpable lump. There is precious little in the literature on this topic. Reference article.
