Discussion

There is marked bilateral negative ulnar variance with smooth pressure erosion and mild sclerosis of the distal radius at the DRUJ. Remainder of hand and wrist appears normal. Do not confuse ulnar impingement with ulnar impaction, they are quite different---as Dr. Cerezal describes in the attached article, they are mutually exclusive. Reference article.
