Discussion

There is a tear near the confluence of the median septum and distal aponeurosis (or is it distal tendon?) of the medial paracentral caudal soleus (white arrow), with low grade partial tear of the muscle at the myotendinous junction. There is no injury to the achilles, nor is there plantaris injury. The low grade tib anterior strain is asymptomatic. Hard to find references of soleus tendon anatomy, does anyone have a better reference? Reference article.
