Discussion

Pathological fracture of the lesser trochanter. Lytic on xray. In an old pt, met most likely. DDx includes GCT, ABC, chondroblastoma (child), cyst, and less likely fibrous dysplasia. Note the sclerotic rim, lack of periosteal reaction, and non-enhancement. Fluid levels were present (not shown). Path showed a bone cyst.
