Discussion

The FCL is completely torn (red arrows) as is the popliteofibular ligament (blue arrow). I cannot clearly identify the arcuate ligament, is it torn (too bad these ligaments dont come labeled and color coded)? The ACL is intact. I know the posterolateral ligamentous complex is a secondary stabilizer of the ACL that should be repaired with ACL tear. Does this need to be repaired in the absence of ACL tear (slide 4 shows intact ACL)? There is no lateral meniscal tear. Reference article.
