Discussion

Histopathologically confirmed Melorheostosis with extraosseous involvement (syn. mixed sclerosing bone dysplasia) which may appear in 25% of cases with Melorheostosis. The soft tissue mass is often associated with pain and regional dystrophic changes. Slow growth may be observed. Reference article.
